Street Fighter V - screenshot 4

Street Fighter V will be exclusive to PC and PS4

Not more than few minutes ago Capcom sent us the press release that Street Fighter V is confirmed to be exclusive to PC and Playstation 4. As to why X Box is not in despite PC being in is anybody’s guess. Not to mention as long as it’s more than one platform it isn’t all that exclusive. Release dates of SFV is yet unknown. However since trailers and screenshots abound, here is some stuff to calm you down.

Screenshots? Well five official ones anyway.

Here is one trailer, probably from the opening video of the actual game.

Quoting the PR from Sony:

“Partnering with Capcom to deliver one of the most popular video game franchises of all time as a console exclusive to our PlayStation family is a huge undertaking and an honor we take incredibly seriously,” said Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher & Developer Relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America. “We can’t wait to show Street Fighter and PlayStation fans what we have in store for them.”

The fans are overjoyed to hear of some new security breaches in Sony which will make their twitch accounts popular.  What a surprise! Thank you Sony.

Back in E3 June 2014 , Capcom’s line up did not include Street Fighter V so we can safely assume this game won’t be in shelves this year. Our estimate is perhaps shortly after E3 2015.

Have you had a chance to try this in closed beta? or have you seen any leaked Gameplay? share in comments please.

Looks like Playstation 4 and a cheap PC port it is then. Come to think of it, when was the last time you saw a Capcom game on Xbox anyway?!
