Watch Dogs Special Edition Spotted on Netherland Retailer Website
Watch Dogs shows us just how useful and how dangerous modern technology and even continually evolving technology can be used for good and evil purposes. Watch Dogs has been announced for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii-U, Xbox 360 and the PC but still lacks an audience with the next generation Xbox, perhaps that will change once the next generation Xbox has actually been revealed. GamerMania, a Netherland based retailer has put up a peculiar listing which appears to be “Watch_Dogs: Special Edition”. Find out what goodies lie ahead for you.
Watch Dogs Special Edition Spotted on Netherland Retailer Website, Have a better future in your hands with the Special Edition!
Watch Dogs is a very highly expected game releasing later this year for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and while the game still hasn’t had much details revealed about it, the Special Listing reveals the content available as well as the confirmation of multiplayer, while the multiplayer is still one field that has to have light shed on it by the developers it would be safe to assume that it would be the same as most other third person action adventure titles such as Tomb Raider or Uncharted.
The Special Edition of Watch Dogs does give some rather generous rewards, it offers:
- A Special mission that rewards you with a free perk that gives you access to free cars and discounts on other cars in the game.
- The details of the mission are: (Taken from the Source and translated using Google Chrome)
- The Special Edition includes an additional single-player mission, namely the Breakthrough Mission Pack:There is secret meeting going on. The Chicago Club does power negotiations with CEOs of large companies. The club has hired scramblers to block. Monitoring devices Race through the city to find the scramblers and take them out.
Grab all the names of those attending the meeting and upload their photographs for the rest of the world.
After completing the mission you get the Vehicle Expert perk: Get free vehicles through your Underground Car Contact and get discounts on exclusive cars.
- Access to multiplayer content such as skins, perks and faction tags.
While this is going to be a spectacular year for Ubisoft with the parallel release of Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag along with Splinter Cell: Blacklist, I would love to see more special content come out for this game especially if we can use the protagonists cell phone for ourselves as “beta testers”.
Currently these sort of listings do tend to come true for the most part but for now consider this as a rumor and take it with a pinch of salt.
Are you expecting Watch Dogs to compete against a magnitude of AAA titles releasing before it? Do you think it can steal the show?
