PlayStation 4 Will Cost £400 & Release in October 2013
PlayStation 4 Will Cost £400 & Release in October 2013, According to an interview which Sony Computer Entertainment CEO, Andrew House, gave to British Tabloid newspaper, The Sun, it seems that the CEO let out the information that the PlayStation 4 will have a £400 to accompany it, the price seems reasonable and all but then again, the price isn’t that bad and of course will sink significantly lower once the Christmas shopping season rolls around. Currently the console itself is a mystery but of course with E3 steadily approaching its only a matter of when now.
PlayStation 4 Will Cost £400 & Release in October 2013, Confirmed by Andrew House in his interview with The Sun
Andrew House is the current president of Sony Computer Entertainment, replacing Kaz Hirai, who in turn was also a great president. Mr. House had an interview with a British tabloid newspaper, “The Sun“.
House continues to talk about the PlayStation 4 in his interview and the many changes he hopes it will bring: (Courtesy of the Source)
House said that the console will attempt to appeal to female gamers more and that ‘it’s not all about shooting games’.
He told the paper: “We’re not going down the route of making the console pink of course…
“I think the key is to have people – and increasingly women – with different sensibilities creating different games. It is not all about shoot em up games.”
While I completely agree with Mr. House that a color isn’t enough to make a console appealing to a female gamer, it would have to be the features and titles that really helps bring them to it. While the controller reveal didn’t really talk about this topic it seems that the PlayStation 4 is trying to cater to the genders and not just push out more shooter games.
Of course, with the generous addition of indie developers and more it would be much more easier for Sony to put a larger variety of games on the store for larger audiences to take advantage of.
