ZOTAC GeForce GTX 660 Destroyer DTC Graphics Card Unveiled
Zotac’s upcoming GeForce GTX 660 Destroyer DTC (Dual-Traction Cooling) GPU has been unveiled. Zotac has previously launched the AMP! variant of the GTX 660 but unlike the GTX 660 Ti, the GTX 660 didn’t get the Extreme Edition treatment.
ZOTAC’s GTX 660 Destroyer GPU
The Zotac GTX 660 Destroyer DTC comes with the GK-106 architecture featuring 960 cores and a 2 GB GDDR5 memory running across a 192-bit wide interface. Clock frequencies were not mentioned but we expect that the card would come with some sort of a factory overclock out-of-box.
Power is provided through 8+6 Pin PCI-e connectors and the PCB (Full-length) makes use of high quality components compared to the reference GeForce GTX 660 PCB design. Display outputs include Dual-DVI, HDMI and a full length Display port.
The DTC cooling design reminds one of the Extreme Edition cards from Zotac. Its mostly the same thing with a different color scheme. There’s a large aluminum fin block which directs head through copper heatpipes in the central chamber which are cooled off by two 92mm fans on the shroud. The Zotac GTX 660 Destroyer would be available in selected markets in APAC region, release date is not known yet.
